I have carved turnips, rutabegas, and -- of course -- your classic pumpkin. So when the opportunity to take a Thai Fruit Carving class came up, it just seemed the organic next step (see what I did there?).
I arrived excitedly to the class with my super-awesome fruit carving knife in hand. Here it is:
Really, these things are a weapon, and I barely made it out with all of my fingers, but they slice through cantaloupe like nobody's business.
